Golden City Support Services is a registered NDIS Service provider.

Not all providers need to register with the NDIS Commission. However, registration provides some assurance to NDIS participants that the provider’s services and supports meet the level of quality and safety stated in the NDIS Practice Standards and some NDIS supports can only be provided by a registered provider.

As a registered provider Golden City Support Services meets the NDIS quality and safeguards standards.

We provide NDIS participants with a broad range of services, built on a history of providing supports to local communities for over 40 years.

We have a strong track record of providing supports to people with complex support needs, and supporting people with psychosocial disability.

Although you have to be under the age of 65 to receive NDIS funding, through our community based aged care work we understand the needs of aging parents in supporting a family member with a disability.

Core Supports
We provide support that enables a participant to participate in the activities of daily living.
These supports may be in your own home, out in the community or in Specialist Disability Accommodation.

Capacity building
We provide individualised supports that enable a participant to build independence and skills.
As part of our capacity building options we provide support through our highly regarded and popular CreateAbility and Creative Links activities and we can develop other tailored individual supports.

Respite (Short Term Accommodation)
Golden City Support Services was started by families looking for community based respite options for their family members with disabilities.
We have always understood and recognised the importance of respite for families. The chance for families to take a break or attend that important other event.
Respite, or Short Term Accommodation, is however much more than the family having a break. For the NDIS Participant, it is about the opportunity to build new skills and have life experiences outside the family home.
We provide Short Term Accommodation in specifically designed respite homes in Bendigo and Gisborne.

Support Coordination
Our dedicated Support Coordination team will support the participant to understand and implement the funded supports in their plan and link them to community, mainstream and other government services.
Golden City Support Services Support Coordinators focus on supporting the participants to build skills and direct their own life, as well as connect them to providers and other services.
Our Support Coordinators work with service providers and others across our region and have a deep understanding of the service system. Golden City Support Services has a long history of supporting individuals and their families through complex service options.
