disability support services

Golden City Support Services offers many levels of support, from just a couple of hours a week to 24 hours a day.

Support is provided to meet individual support needs and pays attention to service planning where the person is at the centre of the process.

We are highly skilled and experienced in working with people with a broad range of support needs including: physical disabilities, intellectual, cognitive and learning disabilities, sight and hearing disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, acquired brain injury, dual disabilities.

Respectful and effective personal assistance to enable you to complete daily tasks and personal care routines so that you can get on with your life.

in your community

Assistance and support in day to day activities in your community – shopping, banking, appointments.
Support for learning new skills and support for social connections and relationships (staying connected to family, friends and other important people).

 

accommodation options

For individuals who have a higher level of need for support in their living situation we develop services that are based on paying attention to all aspects of quality of life (including personal wellbeing, social participation, independence and life-long learning).

Options include:

  • Individualised accommodation: identified and planned through an Individual Support Package

  • Shared Supported Accommodation: allocated through the Department of Human Services

  • Community Housing models: Lead Tenancy, Outreach.
